All about the ancient tribes
On the Priestly Breastplate, turquoise represented the Tribe of Dan, and it was a representative stone for the tribe.

According to Matthew 1:1–2, Jesus is a member of the tribe of Judah. Jesus, David, Mary, Solomon, Caleb 2, and Reuben were all notable tribesmen. Derived from Jacob’s eldest son, about whom Jacob declared that he was ″as uncontrollable as water″ ( Genesis 49:4 ).
Joseph is included in some lists as one of the twelve apostles (Genesis 49; Deuteronomy 33). Levi is not counted in some systems, while Ephraim and Manasseh are regarded separate tribes in others.
According to tradition, the tribe of Judah was allotted the most honorable position within their camp: in the east, directly in front of the entrance to the Tabernacle, and it was beneath its banner that the tribes of Issachar and Zebulun pitched their tents. This particular flag was either crimson or scarlet in color.
The tribe of Levi’s gem was agate, a sort of gorgeous, multicolored stone with a circular pattern, similar to a tree trunk, that was worn as a pendant.
In ancient times, the tribe of Naphtali was one of the twelve tribes who, under the leadership of Joshua, conquered Canaan, the Promised Land, after Moses died. The tribe was called after the younger of two boys born to Jacob and Bilhah, a maidservant of Jacob’s second wife, Rachel, and the younger of two sons born to Jacob and Bilhah.
In the same way, a good name (such as Asher’s) survives above—in other words, among us—even after one has passed from this world. Due to the fact that it represented Asher’s soul, the Peridot was a potent sign on the Priestly Breastplate.

In Judaism, the Lion of Judah (Hebrew: Aryeh Yehudah), often known as the Lion of Judah, is a national and cultural emblem that has historically been associated with the Israelite tribe of Judah. It is established in the Torah that the tribe comprises of the descendants of Judah, Jacob’s fourth son, and his descendants.

Moses was born on this day in history. According to the biblical story, Moses’ parents were members of the tribe of Levi, which belonged to a group of Egyptians known as Hebrews at the time. Originating in ancient times, the term Hebrew had nothing to do with race or ethnic background.
Moses’ older brother Aaron is mentioned in the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament) as the son of Amram and Jochebed, a Levite from the tribe of Levi, who is three years older than his father Amram and three years older than his mother Jochebed.

According to the Book of Genesis, Naphtali (/naeftla/; Hebrew: , Modern: Naftali, Tiberian: Naptli,’my battle’) was the last of Jacob and Bilhah’s two sons (Jacob’s sixth son) and the last of their two sons (Jacob’s seventh son). He was the patriarch of the Israelite tribe of Naphtali, which he founded.
Napthali settled on the eastern side of the Galilee (on the western shore of Lake Galilee), in the areas that are now known as the Lower Galilee and Upper Galilee, which are bordered on the west by Asher, on the north by Dan, on the south by Zebulun, and on the east by the Jordan River. Naphtali’s descendants are known as the Naphtali tribe.

It had twelve precious stones set in gold filigree: sardius (ruby), topaz, carbuncle (garnet), emerald, sapphire, diamond, jacinth, agate, amethyst, beryl, onyx, jasper, and agate with amethyst. All twelve tribes of Israel were represented by a stone carved with their names on it.
Emerald is a form of beryl, a mineral species that also contains aquamarine, that ranges in color from blue green to green. The color of high-quality emerald is distinguished by its intensely saturated green hue. Corners that are beveled. Emerald cuts have facets that are arranged in concentric parallel rows and have beveled corners. ″jardin,″ which means ″garden.″
