All about the ancient tribes
According to the Bible, the Tribe of Levi is one of the tribes of Israel, descended from Levi, son of Jacob, and is one of the twelve tribes of Israel. It was Aaron’s descendants who were identified as the priestly class, the Kohanim, after he became Israel’s first kohen gadol (high priest).

According to Moses’ blessing, the Levites engage with him in resisting the actions of Israel and Aaron. In Deuteronomy 33:8–11, a portion of Moses’ blessing, Levi is designated to manage the Urim and Thummim (sacred lots) and to instruct the children of Jacob.
Moses was born on this day in history. According to the biblical story, Moses’ parents were members of the tribe of Levi, which belonged to a group of Egyptians known as Hebrews at the time. Originating in ancient times, the term Hebrew had nothing to do with race or ethnic background.

Rod Reiss, you’re the man!! Points to bear in mind are as follows: Levi’s father is completely unaware that he is his son’s father. Except for Kenny, no one else was aware.
Assuming that the identification of Matthew with Levi is correct, Matthew (which is likely to mean ″Yahweh’s Gift″) would appear to be the Christian name of Levi (whom Mark refers to as ″Levi the son of Alphaeus″), who had been employed as a tax collector in the service of Herod Antipas, the tetrarch of Galilee at the time of Jesus’ birth.
However, there is no reason to suppose that a ‘France’ exists at that location. After all is said and done, IT DOESN’T MATTER! Levi Ackerman is Levi Ackerman, and there is no need to make race an issue of it. @Pukitaki Isayama stated that Levi was French, thus he is unquestionably French, and there is no need to speculate more.
The Levites served before the LORD, offering gratitude and praise via the use of instruments and the human voice, among other things. It was the Levites’ responsibility to accompany and assist worshippers in obeying divine commandments to remember and express gratitude to the LORD.
Deuteronomy, without the qualifier ‘priests,’ refers to clergy who are dispersed across the kingdom and who are grouped with the sojourner ‘within thy gates’. There are two probable exceptions to this rule. These Levites are persons who do not own any property and rely on the generosity of landowners to provide for their basic necessities.
The Ark of the Covenant is the most important religious symbol in Israel. The Israelites craft the golden vessel on Mount Sinai in accordance with God’s instructions.. There is a copy of the holy regulations in the Ark, along with a jar that carries the heavenly meal, manna.
