The Klamath people are a Native American tribe of the Plateau culture area in Southern Oregon and Northern California.
Klamath Falls offers a variety of outdoor recreation such as cross country skiing, golfing, fishing, hunting and canoeing. It is known for its splendid bird watching and is the home of the highest concentrations of bald eagles in the Pacific Northwest.
The Klamath tribe lived lived a semi-nomadic lifestyle and spent the cold, snowy winters in semi-subterranean pit houses and in the summer used temporary tule-mat shelters made from the reeds and bulrushes found along the rivers of their tribal lands. The Klamath lifestyle was based on the seasons.

It is just a low level, grimy place to live without an adequate supportive city infrastructure to make the area a safe place to live. Klamath Falls has the worst air quality in Oregon. During the winter the air gets so bad you can’t go outside.
If you are from out of town and visiting there isn’t much to see in Klamath Falls at all. It is a notoriously boring town other than hunting and fishing. The Klamath County Museum is the exception to the rule.
