Ajunta Pall was a male Human Jedi Master and the leader of the Dark Jedi that were exiled from the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic following the Hundred-Year Darkness. Upon his arrival on Korriban, he became the first Dark Lord of the Sith.
Darth Sidious and Darth Maul were Sith Lords during the late era of the Galactic Republic. In the years leading up to the Invasion of Naboo, the Sith Lord Darth Plagueis was killed by his apprentice Darth Sidious, who at the time was also training his own apprentice Darth Maul. The Sith then resurfaced ten years later.

Moff Gideon is nothing more than one of the Empire’s existing bad guys who officially worked for the Imperial Security Bureau.

It’s revealed in The Rise of Skywalker that Kylo Ren isn’t the only powerful Force-wielder with an equally powerful parentage: Rey, formerly the child of no one according to The Last Jedi, has been revealed to be the grandchild of none other than Sheev Palpatine, the Emperor and resurrected leader of the Sith. Yep.
If you’re only counting the movies, no. There are four Sith seen: Palpatine (aka Darth Sidious), Darth Vader, Dooku (aka Darth Tyranus), and Darth Maul. Darth Maul was revealed to be alive in Star Wars: The Clone Wars (TV series). Palpatine would be resurrected in Dark Empire.
Ultimately, Plagueis ‘ only fear was bound to come true: at some point, Sidious had learned everything he needed from his master, after which he decided that he had no further use for a teacher, Sidious disposed of Plagueis, killing him in his sleep.
The definition of Dark Jedi (at least according to Wookieepedia) is a Force-sensitive that adheres to the Dark Side, but isn’t a Sith. And, on another note, Maul was a Dathomirian Zabrak, not a Sith Pureblood.
Green indicated a Jedi Consular, a Jedi who preferred to reflect on the mysteries of the Force and fight the dark side at its heart. Yellow indicated a Jedi Sentinel, a Jedi who honed his or her skills in a balance of combat and scholarly pursuits.
It wasn’t until an Academy screening of “Rise of Skywalker” after the film’s theatrical opening that Abrams said Finn wanted to tell Rey that he is Force sensitive. This clarification came after Boyega took to social media to declare, “No, Finn wasn’t going to say I love you before sinking!”
Much of what Vader does in Episodes V and VI is him showing compassion in a twisted way, mainly in Luke’s interest. He convinces the Emperor to let him bring in Luke and attempt to turn him, rather than killing him outright. And when he does actually go after him, he doesn’t actually kill him, and in fact lets him go.
