Players can unlock the Kojin beast tribe upon completing the Stormblood quest “Tide Goes In, Imperials Go Out”. The unlock quest “Heaven-sent” can be picked up from the Vexed Villager in Isari, who sends you to search for his missing daughter.
The storytelling for each beast tribe quest line is also worth playing. I’ve found most of the quest lines in FFXIV good so far. The way the beast tribes work is first, do a series of quests to qualify to do the daily quests. Doing daily quests results in reputation gains that lead to different levels of reputation.

All daily quests for Vanu are only given by the same single NPC, so 3 per day. ARR tribes, for each rank an NPC gives 3 quests. But when you rank up, a different NPC unlocks, giving you 3 more quests, thus opening more quests available per day. You can only do 3 daily quests per beast tribe.

Sylph Daily Quests are Beast Tribe Quests for the Sylph race. Players can find the Sylph quest-givers at Little Solace, East Shroud (x22,y26). To unlock the Sylph daily quests, player must complete the level 42 quest Seeking Solace. Players can start the quest by talking to Vorsaile Heuloix in New Gridania (x9,y11).

By increasing your reputation, you will gain access to the Beastmen tribe vendor which sells unique mounts, minions, furnishings and other items. Beast Tribe Quests don’t unlock until you reach level 41 of the Main Scenario Quests, even if your character is over level 41.
