All about the ancient tribes
To increase reputation to the true maximum rank, Allied, players must complete the A Realm Reborn series of Allied beast tribe quests. Reputation points earned through quests unlocked at this rank vary: The Moogle and Vanu Vanu quests grant 50 reputation points each (cap in 12 days at 3 quests per day).
The storytelling for each beast tribe quest line is also worth playing. I’ve found most of the quest lines in FFXIV good so far. The way the beast tribes work is first, do a series of quests to qualify to do the daily quests. Doing daily quests results in reputation gains that lead to different levels of reputation.
Unlock. To unlock the Moogle Daily Quests, players must complete level 50 quest Tricks and Stones (speak to Seething Stonemason in The Churning Mists (x27,y34)).
According to the wiki, Beast Tribe Quests don’t unlock until you reach level 41 of the Main Scenario Quests, even if your character is over level 41. Once unlocked via the Main Scenario Quests the Beast Tribe Quests become dependent on character level and not Main Scenario Quest level.
Unlocking the Qitari Beast Tribe In order to unlock the beast tribe, you will need to complete the quest called “The Stewards of Note”. This quest is available by talking to Concerned Mother in The Rak ‘ tika Greatwood (X: 21.0 Y: 27.6) with a level 70 or higher gatherer.
To unlock the Pixie Beast Tribe ou will need to complete the quest called Manic Pixie Dream Realm. This quest is available by talking to PinkPixie in the Crystarium (X: 13.1 Y: 15.2) after progressing enough in the Main Story Quest. This quest chain is composed of six quests in total including Manic Pixie Dream Realm.
They are located in The Fringes – Castellum Velodyna (X:21.7 Y:26.2).
Beast Tribe Quests are daily quests that require the players to perform tasks dictated by various Beast Tribes. Beast Tribe Quests for Sylphs and Amalj’aa were added in patch 2.1. Quests for the Kobolds and Sahagin were added in patch 2.2.

The Churning Mists lies in the floating landmasses above Dravania. It is principally the home of the Dravanian Horde, and the only way to access this place is through Sohm Al.
Mog learns new dances by fighting in different areas. If Mog ends a battle that currently has a background he does not know the associated dance of he will learn it. Mog will not learn a dance if the unknown background changes due to performing a known danced during the battle.
