Winston Duke (born November 15, 1986) is a Tobagonian-American actor. He is best known for his role as M’Baku in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Black Panther (2018), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019). He also starred in Jordan Peele’s horror film Us (2019).
The movie simplified it from the comics, so there are five tribes – border, merchant, mining, river and the Jabari – and their major deities are Hanuman, for the Jabari, and Bast, for everyone else. There is no “panther tribe,” just the royal family, of which the Black Panther is a member.
The Black Panther is the ceremonial title given to the chief of the Panther Tribe of the advanced African nation of Wakanda.
Conversely, as T’Challa prepared to be crowned King of Wakanda, a delegation of Jabari led by the tribe leader M’Baku left the Jabari Land for the Warrior Falls in order to challenge T’Challa, claiming that they had spent years observing the rest of Wakanda from the mountains and disagreed with the path they had chosen
Later in the movie, M’Baku became an unexpected ally to T’Challa after he was overthrown by Killmonger. M’Baku returned in Avengers: Infinity War to fight alongside Wakanda’s warriors and the Avengers against Thanos ‘ hordes, and he was among the half of the universe that survived The Snap.
Vibranium is Not Real Vibranium was created by Marvel comics in 1966, first appearing in Daredevil #13. Originally shrouded in mystery, the fictional metal was fleshed out across various comic lines over the next few years. Vibranium is actually an alien metal that crashed to earth, hence its fantastical properties.

2 Shuri. The frontrunner to take on the role as the leader is T’Challa’s younger sister, Shuri. Shuri is the creator behind her brother’s suits and she also happens to be the lead inventor of all of Wakanda, overseeing most of the countries technological advancements.
Having lost his faith in both T’Chaka and T’Challa due to their failures to capture Ulysses Klaue, the man who was responsible for the death of his parents, W’Kabi put his faith in Erik Killmonger, supporting him in taking the throne of Wakanda and seemingly killing T’Challa as a result.
During a subsequent duel with T’Challa, Killmonger is killed by Monica Rambeau, whom he had previously captured and imprisoned.
The Jabari Tribe, also referred to as the J’Abari or the Mountain Tribe, is a tribe consisting of Wakandans who shunned the use of vibranium and removed themselves from mainstream society.
