Miccosukee Indians of Florida are a Native American Tribe. Currently, they have a population of around 550 people and three reserve sites in the state of Florida. These reservation areas are located along Tamiami Trail, Alligator Alley, and Krome Avenue respectively.
Tamiami Trail, Alligator Alley, and Krome Avenue are the names of the three portions that make up the Miccosukee Indian Reservation, which is located west of Miami and Fort Lauderdale and encompasses more than 128 square miles.

In 1957, a sizable number of the indigenous people who were already living in Florida established a political group that came to be known as the Seminole Tribe of Florida.
It is a place well worth visiting to learn about its people and its history, since the Seminoles claim a rare distinction among the 566 Native American tribes recognized by the United States government: Unconquered. They never capitulated and never agreed to any kind of peace pact.
